Meal Prep - Where to Start?

Sustainabilty (and Sanity)


Keep these long-lasting ingredients on hand for a quick, easy, complete meal that is sure to be healthier than a trip to your nearest fast food joint:


Taco "fixins" - Some of the things we like to make from these are tacos, burritos, quesadillas, taco salad, nachos, etc. Some of these ideas obviously incorporate other ingredients, but they aren't necessary for a quick delicious meal.

  • Tortillas

  • Cheese

  • Canned beans (refried, black, pinto, ranch style, you name it!)

  • Canned tomatoes

  • Canned chicken

  • Onions (frozen and pre-chopped are my faves!)

  • Black olives

  • Frozen veggies
